Run Dem Run provides political consulting to candidates in smaller markets and down-ballot races. Its founder seeks to provide support for candidates who might not be able to fund a large consulting partner. Whether you are considering a run for office for the first time or are looking to run for re-election, Carla Rogers - former chair of the 34th District Democrats - will guide you through the early stages of consideration and planning and set you up for success.

Carla's passion for election work started when she ran her first successful local campaign in 2007 in Virginia. Then in 2008, she ran 5 precincts out of her house for President Obama.  Her family moved to Seattle in 2010 and Carla spent the next 8 years advocating for public education in Olympia with her son's school's PTA.

In 2018 she was inspired by a WA state Senator to get involved in the local party (34th Legislative District Democrats). Within 2 years she was elected chair and has continued to organize and inspire others to get engaged. She has been awarded member of the year 3 times for her contributions and organizing savvy. Understanding local party politics is her super power. 2023 was her first unofficial consulting experience with candidates in Seattle, Burien and Highline.

In Run Dem Run's first full cycle of professional consulting, she was 5 for 6, including running the progressive slate for Burien City Council and an Issaquah School Board candidate with a MAGA MFL opponent. 

Services and length of engagement are flexible. I won't try to sell you what you don't need or can't afford. It's about your needs and comfort level. The goal is to get solid, electable candidates ready to run a competitive campaign while providing the appropriate level of support for that candidate.

I only work with candidates who demonstrate Democratic values.

With my focus and insight grounded in King County, my work is limited to King County races.
